Role: Business Analyst
Job description
As a Business Analyst you act as a bridge between stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that business requirements are effectively captured and translated into functional specifications. You are responsible for identifying areas for improvement within business processes, gathering and analyzing data, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, documenting requirements, and performing gap analysis. Additionally, you will often oversee project timelines, support testing and validation efforts, and ensure that final deliverables meet the established business needs.

To become a successful Business Analyst, candidates typically need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. While a degree provides a solid foundation, many employers also prefer candidates with a master's degree or advanced certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Agile Analysis Certification (AAC). Additionally, coursework in project management, statistics, and data analysis can be beneficial. Practical experience through internships or previous roles in similar positions is highly valued, as it allows candidates to develop essential analytical and problem-solving skills necessary for effective performance in the role
