Job description
As an IT Support Technician, you'll be fundamental to ensuring the seamless functioning of the company's tech systems. Your work will include resolving hardware and software dilemmas, aiding users with tech-related issues, and offering advice on how to use the systems. A part of your job will be the installation and setting up of computer systems, overseeing network connectivity, and performing regular check-ups to prevent potential problems. Your role will also have you documenting support requests, moving difficult problems to expert teams, and even contributing to the formulation of IT guidelines and protocols. In essence, you'll act as the primary safeguard of technological functionality, aiding to uphold productivity and efficiency in the office.
Job requirements
Qualification in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, can significantly enhance job prospects and demonstrate proficiency in various IT areas. Furthermore, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a basic understanding of computer networks, hardware, and software are crucial for success in this role.
